The best Chinese food near my house! Great customer service! Fast and good qualifying food. You know it's good if they have customers lined up to the door.

Stopped for a late lunch while passing through town, and went to Mr. You Express Chinese Food. This is largely a take-out place (there are 4 tables , though) with a limited number of ready-made dishes to serve out of a cafeteria counter, a similar set-up to Panda Express but with more choices, including a few unusual choices. Mr. You served up a very tasty meal. Barbecued pork was flavorful and just tender enough. Zucchini Beef had a delicious sauce. The chow-mein was mediocre. (Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars). The most unusual aspect, though, was the size of the meal: huge. The styrafoam container couldn't fully close over it. I had stopped the server from overstuffing it with rice and chow-mein. Then she ladled on a big portion of of zucchini beef. Then she doubled it. At this point the container was very full compared to any takeout place I've been to in the past three years. Then she looked through all the pieces of barbecued pork, picked a lean one, chopped it up and laid on top of the mountain of food. And then she chopped up a second one. I ate it for lunch yesterday, for breakfast this morning, and there's more left over.

The reviews don't lie!!! Shout out to Julie for their great energy and recommendations. They really made a favorable impression on my Uncle and I. $9.99 for a 3 item combo, say whaaaaaat!?!? At that price, the Combo C was a no brainer. There was a short line when we stepped in, but it grew as we patiently waited. The line moves quickly though, as this team works hard to feed their customers as soon as possible. In my short time in line, I saw no less than 3 large trays being replaced and replenished, most notably, in the first in first out method. In other words, they made sure to serve the previously made food, before the new food, rather than just keep dumping new stuff on top while the old stuff sits underneath; this is one of the keys to fresh products. The three item combo was served in a smaller container than I'm used to, but it was stuffed to the brim with my choosing of fried rice, chow mein, spicy orange chicken and BBQ chicken. My third item, teriyaki chicken, was served in a smaller second container. Both containers were literally filled to the max, and everything was pretty tasty. I'm no expert on Chinese food, so I'm usually not too hard to please- I'd say freshness plays a key role in that aspect. What was good: An incredible amount of food for the price Customer service Speed of service Presentation and packaging What was different than I expected: The BBQ chicken was a little sweet for my liking The spicy orange chicken wasn't spicy The teriyaki chicken didn't taste like teriyaki to me The noodles seemed a tad bit greasy/oily All in all, everything was solid, and I would most definitely return, particularly because I don't live in this area and don't know a lot of alternatives. Some reviews aren't glowing, however, I'd say if you're down for some quick takeout Chinese food, this will satisfy your cravings. Thanks again to Julie for providing some excellent front of house service. I really like that she spoke highly of the food as well. Thanks to the team at Mr. You- You rocked!

Mr You's Da Man! In today's inflation Mr You Chinese food is best deal in all of Southern California! Mr You offers a heaping container of love to last you all day. I ordered three 3-item combos to try a little bit of everything. My favorite was their orange chicken. The most unique item was their curry chicken influenced with a Thai inspired spiciness. Their chow lemon was tasty. Though there was a line it went quickly with several people behind the service line. All were very friendly. Everyone waiting in line seemed to be regulars and were very talkative. There are multiple Mr You Chinese Food locations in the Riverside and Inland Empire but apparently they are independently owned and operated. This place is definitely on my stops when shuttling my daughter back and forth to UC Riverside from the OC. Overall we enjoyed the food. It's definitely a fast food variety of Americanized Asian cuisine but a nice change from a burger that will cost just as much. The 3-item combo was $9.99 each! We added a bowl of wonton soup. For three, 3-items combos and the soup came to $39 and change. Boom! Sign me up. What a great value. I'll be back for the food and the service.
